Engaged by Kodiak Projects for the design and installation of this renovation, we were brought in to create a landscape that felt established and refined ahead of sale. With real estate photography on the horizon, the gardens needed to look settled from day one while still feeling authentic to the home. Every plant was hand selected from local nurseries, with a clear focus on quality and longevity. The brief was simple. Deliver strong street presence and a backyard that felt complete, even on a tight timeline.

Set on a steep block, the logistics required care and persistence. Soil for the rear yard was brought in bucket by bucket, and each piece of Zoysia turf laid individually by hand. At the front, a 40 year old ex ground olive tree anchors the façade, framed by a Travertine crazy pave feature wall and ancient style garden pots. Garden lighting enhances the texture and depth of the materials, bringing warmth as the sun goes down. The result is a landscape that feels grounded and confident. The agent credited the planting scheme as a key factor in the sale, and the project continues to bring new clients through its presence alone.
