Referred by Nest Bespoke Homes, we met the client midway through construction to shape a landscape that would feel private, practical and full of life. With neighbouring homes close on all sides, privacy was a key priority, along with Sir Grange Zoysia at the rear, a poolside outdoor shower and colourful gardens layered with ground covers. Access was tight, with only a narrow gap along one boundary, so careful planning was essential from day one.

To move over 30 cubic metres of underlay and soil, we coordinated a soil pump to navigate the restricted site. Privacy was achieved through a 1.8 metre western fence, established Prima Donna trees to the north and a custom 3 metre steel post and marine wire trellis to the east. Japanese Maples, Dichondra and Silver Falls soften the structure, while steel edging and a mobile prompt irrigation system keep everything defined and manageable. The result is a secure, inviting poolside setting where the planting will continue to evolve, and the family can enjoy watching their vines take shape over time.
